Definition of Concept and Theory

Concept
is the frame of thinking on something by someone or group, and compose it, clearly, lucidly, and systematicaly and use fir guidance for action.

Theory
is the science comes from experiences come repeatly and it's tested the truth and then it's compered systematically (writer or remembering), clearly and use for guidance of action.

Example: The theory of education; The theory of physics; The theory of language.

According to the theory of learning by Edward Thomdike:

The Foundation of Education
According to the study of experts in education, the foundation of education consist of:
1. Philosophy
2. History
3. Human needs
4. Religion


Philosophy
The word "philosphy" comes from greek, namely the word of "philein" and "sophia". The verb of philein means fond of speaking, happy to think and objective of sophia means virtue or wisdom then. Philosophy means to fond or happy to think and adjectives of sophia means virtue and wisdom. Phiyosophy means to fond or happy to think the virtue or wisdom in the human life. The person likes to think virtue or wisdom we call "philosopher", the pioneer of philosopher in the world is Plato. He is the great thinker form greek. According to him, the world can be happy and safe in one society or nation consisit of the groups of society: Astisant (persons who are cleaver the need of humna), warrior, and philosopher.
